My Bedroom–Room Tour!

Ever since posting about my makeup storage video (here) I have been asked SO many times to do a ‘room tour’ video and blog post!  Now, I love the idea of this because I adore looking at interiors and people’s personal spaces, but I have a confession… I’m a bit of a hoarder!
I HATE throwing stuff away and will keep everything.  I’m very sentimental and also get worried a lot that I’ll chuck something out and then need it later.  Because of this, my bedroom is a tiny kind of hobbit’s den.  With its slanted ceiling and box shape, along with so much of my stuff, it can get very cramped, but I prefer to think of it as ‘homely’!
I’ll leave you with some pictures of the good parts of my room (the tidy parts) so you can get a feel for the atmosphere!
SMALL STORAGE BEDROOM
STORAGE 2room tour 4
As you can see I have A LOT of stuff on my desk!  My desk is from the 18th century and I ADORE it!  It was a present from my parents, who got it on ebay!  It has lots of drawers (and also a secret compartment).

room tour 6
This is where you can see the full extent of my hoarding!  I love keep old dried up roses given to me (by past lovers, my parents etc), empty beer bottles from good times, a few little ornaments and a perfume bottle I picked up from Morrocco a few years back.

room tour 5
My nail polish rack, also from eBay.  I have a lot more polishes but these are the ones I like having on display.
PRODUCTS TO REVIEW
I got these two suitcases from a  shop in Romford called Home Sense.  They are filled with products I need to review!

DRAWERS
I have a little cubby hole in my wall where I keep some more makeup storage.  Sorry about how messy the above is!

So there are a few pictures!  I haven’t shown you my little bookcase, photo wall or where I keep all of my perfumes but I will do maybe at a later date!  I hope you’ve enjoyed a little sneak peek into my little bedroom!
What’s your bedroom like? Do you hate throwing things away too or are you tidy and organised?

It will be months before I'm ready to do a room tour – It won't happen until we move out as it's currently my fiance and I living in my bedroom, including a sofa and a dining room table… lots of books, dvds, make-up and clothes… It's a Horrendous mess!

Your room looks lovely! 🙂 I hate throwing things away, I always think that I'll need them at some point in my life again or that I'll miss them or whatever haha 🙂 xx

I try to keep my room as tidy as possible, but I always keep boxes and tins because you never know when you might need them. (Well that's what I tell myself. We all know I'm not going to have any use for them.) However I do have my cupboard of general rubbish for things I don't know where to put.

I love the draws at the side of your bed, are these from Ikea? They're the perfect height for the side of my bed and look really sturdy.

I love your room, it's very twee! I had a slanted ceiling in the house I just moved out of, I found it kind of oppressing to be honest.

I have LOADS of things in my room, I really need to chuck some stuff away but I like to keep everything! I should do a room tour myself really, I've not done one in my new house!

I love your bedroom. It's really pretty and it looks so clean and tidy but still full of stuff! That's exactly the look I'm striving for, I hate throwing things away but I'm trying to learn to be organised about it!

Your room looks gorgeous! I'm a hoarder as well, which is why I will never be able to do a room tour! I'm just so afraid that I will throw something away and really miss it later on. Memories are important!

Your room is so lovely and unique, my bedroom is all white, and everything is hidden in my triple wardrobes and desk, it helps me to relax that way!

Oooh I love the dried up roses in those bottles 🙂 I actually kept all the roses my boyfriend gave me for Valentine's Day, and we have been together for almost 13 years, so yeah, that's a lot of roses!

My room, well flat is covered with nick nacks and sentimental pieces. Just need more candles and I'll be happy. 🙂

I really like the canopy over your bed, I also own that No7 mirror from boots I LOVE it. It's a lifesaver when doing your make up at night. I really like how you used the dried up roses as decoration in the bottles. Very unique and very cool 🙂

Aww your room looks so cozy and homely! 😀

I'm terrible at keeping things, I even keep old perfume bottles because it'll either look pretty or remind me of the person who bought it for me.

I keep so much rubbish, even cinema tickets! xD

Can I just say that I love the idea of putting dried roses in empty beer bottles. Just like you I'm a hoarder. Throwing something away feels like throwing away memories. Also, your desk is stunning. Too bad IKEA won't sell something similar.
