My favourite red lipstick, in the world, has to be MAC’s Morange… that is, until I got my hands on this beauty! I generally really trust MAC and their lipsticks, especially. The quality is always amazing, they smell delicious and the colours are just too beautiful to resist!
I hadn’t tried any of their Pro Longwear Lipcreme’s before, so I was curious to see how this compared. Read on for swatches & what I think!

On MAC’s website this is described as a ‘Loudmouth Orange’, and it makes the most perfect alternate to the classic ‘red’ lip. Because of the Pro longwear formula, this lipstick wears incredibly well on the skin, meaning I only have to lightly top up every 5 hours or so. Because of the slightly different packaging on the Pro Longwear lipsticks, the shape of the bullet is different to the regular MAC lipsticks; because of this I find the best way to apply this is with a lip brush – a little more effort, but you need to be precise with red lipsticks as any mistakes show!
The MAC Good to Go Pro Longwear Lipcreme retails at £16.50 – quite pricey but because of the longevity of the shade and beautiful colour, I’d say it’s a classic and staple red lip product!

I am yet to try the pro longwear lipsticks but this looks like a fantastic shade for me to start off with.

This makes me so sad because I am currently unsure of the whereabouts of my favourite, morange too! I hope it turns up soon. Great post, I'm yet to try the pro longwear lipsticks aswell the orange one that came out with the beth ditto collection looks quite nice! xx

I love Dubonnet from MAC - I love it used properly for a really full on red lip but also patted on for something more subtle. I think it would suit you actually, it looks fantastic on pale skin! It definitely feels like more of a winter lipstick though, so I love Topshop's Infrared for summer. xxx

Sexy lips you have there Katie.. I have been wanted to wear vibrant colours such as that one, but I couldn't give it a shot because I may look like a clown because I have full lips. lol.. I only wear lighter shades like Coral of Ettude House.. But if you're asking me favorite shade of red ,it would be VIVA GLAM NIKKI and M.A.C Red.. They are vamp!

I've alsways been scared of trying a bright red lipstick though as my mum always used to tell me it looked like jam! (it doesn't but I'm still scared - silly really).
